ABB has invested in a new park in Nanjing, strengthening its presence in the Chinese market.

ABB has announced that it will invest in a brand-new modern park in Nanjing, China. This park will become ABB's second transmission product base in China, complementing its existing Beijing base. The new park will integrate ABB's other storage resources and will include a customer experience center, an OEM business center for product and application demonstrations, a customer testing and training base, as well as production and research facilities. The new park aims to further enhance ABB's support for local customers, expand its service capabilities, and more efficiently meet the growing market demands. Additionally, the higher production automation level of transmission products will further enhance the competitiveness of the park.

China is one of ABB's largest and most strategically significant markets, with strong growth potential in multiple industrial sectors. Approximately 85% of the products sold by ABB in China have already been locally produced. This investment is an important step for ABB to strengthen its "In China, for China" strategy, and it is highly consistent with China's direction of improving industrial energy efficiency.

The new park is located in the core area of the most important industrial cluster in China - the Yangtze River Delta. It boasts outstanding logistics advantages, complete transportation infrastructure and a mature local supplier network. In the future, the Nanjing park will form a collaborative operation network with ABB's existing Beijing base, providing stable and reliable transmission product supply and comprehensive service support to customers across the country.

The new park is planning to build several brand-new production lines, and it is expected to be completed by 2027.
