PXI-6230

I. Product Introduction The PXI-6230 is a 3U PXI multi-functional DAQ module of the M series from NI (Emerson), featuring group isolation. Its core highlights include 60 VDC continuous isolation between I/O and bus, as well as 1400 Vrms short-term isolation, balancing safety and accuracy. It is equipped with 8 channels of AI, 4 channels of AO, 6DI/4DO, and 2 counters, and is designed for measurement and control scenarios involving high voltage, strong interference, and the need for electrical isolation.

V. Core Functions

High-voltage electrical isolation: 60 VDC continuous isolation, eliminating grounding loops, suppressing common-mode interference, ensuring system safety.

16-bit high-precision acquisition: High resolution + low drift, suitable for small signal precision measurement.

Integrated multi-function: 8AI + 4AO + 6DI + 4DO + 2 counters, one module completes measurement / control / timing.

Adaptation to strong interference environments: Stable operation in industrial sites, high-voltage equipment, motor control, etc.

Flexible channel configuration: AI single-ended / differential switching, suitable for different sensors and interference levels.

VI. Application Scenarios

Industrial high-voltage equipment testing: Motors, frequency converters, power modules, etc. high-voltage I/O measurement and control.

Strong interference environment monitoring: Factory workshops, power equipment, rail transit, etc. electromagnetic complex scenarios.

Electrical safety-related testing: Insulation resistance, withstand voltage test, grounding fault detection.

Sensor isolation acquisition: Strain bridge, pressure sensor, thermocouple, etc. signals requiring isolation. Embedded control and monitoring: Closed-loop control with isolation (such as valve, pump, relay drive).

VII. Installation and Maintenance Instructions

Installation and Power On

Disconnect the card when power is off, ground the chassis; Power on, self-check by NI-DAQmx, preheat for 15 minutes.

Operating Temperature: 0–55℃. Keep the air duct unobstructed and avoid blocking the fan.

Wiring and Operation

Analog input uses differential shielded cables to reduce common-mode interference; Input voltage ≤ ±10 V.

Avoid frequent plugging and unplugging of 37-pin interface; It is recommended to use CB-37 wiring box; Pay attention to level matching for digital I/O.

Isolation Area and Non-Isolation Area Wiring are separated to avoid high voltage entering the control side.

Daily Maintenance and Calibration

It is recommended to conduct traceability calibration once a year; Built-in self-calibration compensates for temperature drift.

Keep the interface clean, prevent dust accumulation during long-term inactivity; Stay away from strong vibrations and condensation.
