PXI-6030E

I. Product Introduction The PXI-6030E is a 16-bit high-precision multi-channel DAQ module from the E series of National Instruments (NI). It is a 3U single-slot PXI specification, focusing on high-resolution and reliable industrial acquisition, and is designed for medium and low-speed, high-precision multi-channel measurement scenarios. It integrates a 16-bit ADC, a 100 kS/s sampling rate, 16 analog inputs, 2 16-bit AO channels, 8 DIO channels, and 2 24-bit counters. Its accuracy is significantly higher than that of the PXI-6025E, making it suitable for test systems with higher requirements for resolution and stability.

Rich Signal Conditioning: Supports 70 + SCXI/SCC conditioning modules, compatible with thermocouples, RTD, high voltage, etc.

VI. Application Scenarios

Precise Sensor Measurement: Strain bridge, thermocouple, RTD, photodiode, etc. low-level signal acquisition.

Industrial Process Monitoring: Temperature, pressure, level, flow, etc. high-precision monitoring and closed-loop control.

Laboratory and Research: Physical chemistry experiments, biological signals (EEG/ECG), vibration mode analysis.

Electronic Testing and Verification: PCB function testing, component parameter measurement, low-speed signal calibration.

Small-scale Automation Systems: Balances cost and accuracy, suitable for multi-channel, medium-low speed measurement and control scenarios.

VII. Installation and Maintenance Instructions

Installation and Power On Disconnect the power supply and insert the PXI single slot, with the chassis grounded; after powering on, perform self-checks by NI-DAQmx. It is recommended to preheat for 10 minutes.

Operating temperature: 0 - 55℃. Ensure the air duct is unobstructed and avoid blocking the fan.

Connections and Operations

Use shielded twisted-pair cables for analog input, with differential connection to suppress interference; the input voltage should not exceed ±10 V.

Avoid frequent plugging and unplugging of the 68-pin interface; it is recommended to use a wiring box for transition; perform anti-static operations.

When synchronizing multiple modules, share the PXI 10 MHz reference clock and trigger bus.

Daily Maintenance and Calibration

It is recommended to conduct a traceable calibration once a year to compensate for gain/offset drift; built-in self-calibration corrects temperature drift.

Keep the interface clean and cover it with a dust cover when not in use for a long time; avoid strong vibrations and humid environments.
