I. Product Introduction The PXI-4072 is a 3U PXI 6½ digit FlexDMM launched by NI. It integrates a 6½ digit DMM + LCR meter + 1.8 MS/s isolated digital converter in a single slot. The voltage range is ±300 V, with isolation of 300 Vrms. VII. Usage and Maintenance Instructions

(I) Installation and Power On

Disconnect power, insert PXI single slot, tighten panel screws.

Power On Preheat for 30 minutes to ensure 6½-digit accuracy.

NI MAX confirms equipment is normal, self-checks without errors.

(II) Wiring and Operation

High Voltage Safety: Use safety plugs ≥ 100 V; Do not input > 300 V.

4-wire Resistance: Current Terminal (HI/LO) and Sensing Terminal (Sense) are wired separately.

LCR Measurement: Use Open Circuit / Short Circuit Compensation to Eliminate Parasitic Resistance Error NI.

Current Range Protection: Replace 1 A Fast Fuse after Overload Power Off.

(III) Maintenance and Calibration

Regular Calibration: External Traceable Calibration Every 2 Years; Daily Internal Self-Calibration to Compensate for Temperature Drift.
