Description
ABB SACE F1 S/N:8278 Product Description
Overview
ABB SACE F1 S/N:8278 is a fixed type air circuit breaker of the ABB SACE Megamax F series for low‑voltage main power distribution. ABB SACE F1 S/N:8278 is designed to protect transformers, main feeders and heavy‑duty distribution circuits against overload, short‑circuit and earth fault. ABB SACE F1 S/N:8278 is an obsolete legacy breaker widely used in older industrial switchboards and power centers.
Features
ABB SACE F1 S/N:8278 supports interchangeable electronic trip units with configurable LSI or LSIG protection characteristics. It adopts robust frame construction and high‑efficiency arc extinguishing chamber for high short‑circuit breaking capacity. The front operating handle provides clear ON, OFF and trip status indication for local inspection. ABB SACE F1 S/N:8278 can be fitted with optional accessories including auxiliary contacts, shunt trip coil, undervoltage release and motor operator for remote control and alarm signal output. It complies with IEC 60947‑2 standard and maintains stable performance under continuous load and switching cycles. The serial number 8278 is used for individual product traceability and spare identification. ABB SACE F1 S/N:8278 supports front or rear terminal connection and can be integrated into fixed switchgear as main incoming protection.
Specs
Brand: ABB Model: SACE F1 Serial number: 8278 Product series: Megamax F Product category: Air circuit breaker Mounting type: Fixed mount Protection scheme: LSI / LSIG (depends on fitted trip unit) Applicable standard: IEC 60947‑2 Accessory options: Auxiliary contact, shunt trip, undervoltage release, motor operator Installation: Low‑voltage main switchboard
Principle
ABB SACE F1 S/N:8278 collects current signals from built‑in current transformers and sends sampled data to the electronic trip unit. The trip unit compares real‑time current values with preset protection thresholds. When overload, short‑circuit or earth fault occurs, the trip unit sends a release signal to the mechanical mechanism, opening the main contacts and isolating the fault circuit. ABB SACE F1 S/N:8278 prevents damage to downstream cables and equipment. Synchronized auxiliary contacts change state to transmit fault signals to PLC and SCADA monitoring systems.
Applications
ABB SACE F1 S/N:8278 is used for primary low‑voltage power distribution protection. It is commonly installed in factory main distribution rooms, building power centers, water treatment plants and chemical switchboards. It serves as the low‑voltage inlet breaker for transformers and protects large motor feeders and busbar sections. It is also used for maintenance and spare replacement of existing Megamax F series switchgear.
