Overview The HONEYWELL 2MLI-D28B is a 2ML series plug-in digital input card for Honeywell Experion DCS control systems. It is designed for collecting discrete on/off status signals from field devices, widely stocked as spare for thermal power plants and process control cabinets.

Features This digital input card adopts backplane plug-in installation for the 2ML rack system. The 2MLI-D28B supports multi-channel signal isolation, on-board LED channel status indicators, and built-in fault detection circuit. It can report signal failure and card communication fault to the Experion master controller. It is a legacy discontinued DCS spare card.

Principle The 2MLI-D28B samples dry contact discrete signals from field switches, valves and sensors, converts them into digital data and transmits the data to the Experion DCS controller for logic and protection processing.
