Honeywell C7061F2001

The C7061F2001 is the Purple Peeper dynamic self-checking ultraviolet flame detector with explosion-proof housing, 120VAC 50/60Hz supply. This C7061F2001 senses UV radiation generated by gas, fuel oil and multi-fuel combustion, and must be matched with R7861 flame amplifier to complete flame signal processing and burner safety interlock. The F suffix stands for explosion-proof version.

This detector adopts oscillating shutter mechanism for continuous self-test of the UV tube, automatically identifying tube failure and signal circuit fault. It is equipped with built-in heat block on mounting flange to reduce radiant heat transfer. The UV sensing tube and quartz window are field replaceable. It supports parallel wiring of two detectors on one amplifier for multi-burner or wide turndown combustion chambers. Ambient operating range -40°C to +85°C, quartz window withstands 100psi pressure. It can be mounted horizontally, vertically or at any angle.

The C7061F2001 is widely used in power plant boilers, refinery heaters and industrial furnace burner flame safety supervision. This classic C7061 series is discontinued by Honeywell. Most available C7061F2001 units are tested surplus spare parts for burner management system overhaul and emergency flame detector replacement. Matching amplifier model and wiring polarity must be confirmed before replacement.
