Overview The MOELLER DIL M185 (Eaton Moeller DILM185) is a high-power 3-pole electromagnetic contactor for motor and heavy load switching. Rated 185A (AC-3), it can control up to 90kW@400V motor loads, widely stocked as spare for industrial motor control and low-voltage distribution cabinets.

Features This DIL M185 contactor supports AC/DC wide-range coil options, built-in surge suppression circuit. The DIL M185 comes with standard 2NO+2NC auxiliary contacts, screw terminal wiring, and long electrical service life up to 1.2 million switching cycles. It can be fitted with auxiliary contacts, shunt trip and undervoltage release accessories.

Principle When the coil is energized, electromagnetic force closes the main power contacts to connect the load circuit. The contactor breaks the circuit under control command for motor start/stop, and can be paired with overload relays to realize motor protection.

Applications The DIL M185 is widely deployed in motor control centers, water pump skids, conveyor systems and HVAC equipment. It is used for frequent on-off control of three-phase motors and heavy industrial loads.
