Overview The MD Micro Detectors BX10R/CD-HB6XLS is the receiver unit of the BX10 series infrared area light curtain (light grid). It works paired with the transmitter for object detection, widely stocked as spare for packaging machinery, material handling and factory automation.

Features This receiver has 10 infrared beams, 90mm controlled height and 10mm beam pitch. The BX10R/CD-HB6XLS supports NPN+PNP dual output, M12 plug connector, trimmer sensitivity adjustment and built-in reverse polarity & short-circuit protection. It can detect tiny objects and has good anti-interference ability for industrial ambient light.

Principle The receiver continuously receives infrared light beams sent by the matched transmitter. When any beam is blocked by a workpiece, the sensor switches the output contact state and sends the trigger signal to the PLC. It has independent LED status indicators for beam blocking and power supply.

Applications The BX10R/CD-HB6XLS is widely deployed in packaging production lines, conveyor sorting stations and automatic assembly machines. It is used for parts counting, object presence detection and material edge monitoring.
