Overview

The SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC TM2AMI8HT is an analog expansion module for Modicon M238 PLC and compatible Twido systems. It supports 8 non-differential analog inputs for voltage or current signals, widely stocked as spare for sensor signal acquisition in industrial automation.

Principle

The TM2AMI8HT converts incoming analog sensor signals into digital values via sigma-delta ADC. The filtered digital data is sent to the Modicon PLC for calculation, display and interlock control. The module monitors power and channel faults and reports diagnostic status to the controller.

Applications

The TM2AMI8HT is widely deployed in water treatment, packaging machinery, HVAC and refinery skids. It is used for pressure, level, flow and temperature sensor signal acquisition for Modicon M238 control systems.
