Overview

The SUPCON FW243X is a redundant main control card for the SUPCON ECS-100 distributed control system. The SUPCON FW243X serves as the core processor of the control station, responsible for data collection, control algorithm calculation, interlock logic processing and communication scheduling. It supports 1:1 hot redundancy, and can exchange data with upper operation stations through SCnetⅡ network, and communicate with all I/O cards via SBUS backplane bus. The SUPCON FW243X is widely stocked as spare part for chemical, power plant and water treatment ECS-100 DCS cabinet maintenance and replacement.

Features

The SUPCON FW243X adopts high-speed RISC processor with 32-bit floating-point operation capability. It supports multiple programming languages including ladder diagram, function block diagram and sequential control chart, and supports online program download without stopping the control station. The SUPCON FW243X supports up to 8 local or remote I/O racks and maximum 128 I/O modules. It integrates dual redundant SCnetⅡ Ethernet interfaces with 10/100Mbps auto-adaptation, and complete fault diagnosis and self-recovery functions. The SUPCON FW243X is designed for hot-swap replacement, and the standby card automatically takes over control when the primary card fails.

Principle

The SUPCON FW243X scans I/O channels cyclically to collect field process signals. It executes configured PID regulation, sequence logic and safety interlock calculation according to the control program. After calculation, the SUPCON FW243X outputs control commands to analog output and digital output modules. Meanwhile, it uploads real-time process data, alarm information and running status to operator stations and engineering stations. When hardware failure or communication abnormality is detected, the redundant switching logic is triggered to ensure uninterrupted control.

The SUPCON FW243X is used as the core control unit for ECS-100 DCS control stations in chemical industry, thermal power, water treatment and metallurgical automation projects. It realizes continuous process control, safety interlock and data monitoring for production facilities.
