Features

Principle

Legrand DMX‑SP 2500 collects secondary current signals from internal CTs and transmits them to the MP2 / MP4 trip unit. The electronic trip unit compares measured values with preset thresholds. Overload triggers long‑time delayed trip; selective short‑circuit faults trigger short‑time delay trip; severe short‑circuit triggers instantaneous trip. When contacts separate during fault breaking, the arc chamber cools and extinguishes the arc safely. MP4 trip unit records fault logs and electrical measurements for diagnosis and energy management.
