Size: 203mm×127mm×25mm

Weight: Approximately 200g III. Core Functions

Power Monitoring: Real-time monitoring of 3 5V power supplies, 24V main power supply, and backup battery voltages. In case of an anomaly, an LED alarm is triggered and a fault signal is output.

Buffer Power Supply: When the main power supply fails, the built-in battery automatically takes over to maintain the operation of the critical system loads for a short period of time without data loss.

Fault Diagnosis: Self-detection of overvoltage, undervoltage, battery failure, short circuit, etc. The panel LED provides intuitive display of the status.

Redundancy Compatibility: Supports redundant cooperation with F7126/F7130A power modules to build a highly reliable power supply system.

Hot Swap: Supports online module replacement. When unplugging, the "BATE" external backup battery fault alarm is triggered, without affecting system operation.

IV. Installation Steps

Environmental Check: The installation location should be free from strong electromagnetic interference and corrosive gases. A minimum of 20mm of heat dissipation space should be reserved, and it should be far away from frequency converters, contactors, etc.

Mechanical Installation:

DIN Rail Installation: Align the module snap-fit with the rail and press it in tight;

Frame Installation: Insert into the standard frame slot and tighten the fixing screws.

Wiring Operations (Power Off Work):

24V Input: L + connected to 24V positive, L - connected to 24V negative, cable cross-sectional area 0.75~1.5mm²;

Monitoring Output: PS1~PS3 correspond to the positive terminals of the load, the common terminal connected to 24V negative;

Alarm Output: Fault contacts connected to the alarm circuit (24VDC/10mA);

Communication Wiring: A/B lines of the RS-485 interface are connected, and the shield wire is grounded at one end.

Battery Installation: Open the module battery compartment, install CR-1/2 AA-CB batteries, confirm the polarity is correct, and close the compartment cover.

Power On Initialization: After checking that the wiring is correct, connect to the 24V power supply. The PWR light on the panel is always on indicating normal operation, and the ALM light is off indicating no faults.

V. Operation and Running

(1) Panel Indicator Light Explanation

PWR (green): On when the power is normal, off indicating abnormal 24V input;

ALM (red): On when there is a fault (overvoltage/undervoltage, battery failure, output abnormal), off when normal;

PS1/PS2/PS3 (yellow): On when the 5V power supply is normal, off indicating abnormal for this path.

(2) Normal Operation

After system power-on, the module automatically enters the monitoring state, real-time detecting various parameters;

When the main power supply is normal, the battery is in float charging state and does not participate in power supply;

Regularly read the module status data through RS-485 for remote monitoring of running parameters.

(3) Fault Handling

ALM Light On:

Check if the 24V input voltage is within the 18~35V DC range;

Check the indicator lights of PS1~PS3 to locate the abnormal 5V power supply circuit;

Test the battery voltage, replace the battery if it is below 2.8V.

PWR Light Off:

Check if the external 24V power supply is normal, if the input fuse is blown;

Confirm that the connection terminals are not loose or oxidized, and re-tighten the connections.

Hot Swap Replacement:

Directly remove the faulty module, the system triggers an alarm but operates normally;

Insert the same model new module, the system automatically resumes monitoring, and the alarm is eliminated.

VI. Maintenance and Care

Daily Inspection: Daily check the status of indicator lights, confirm no alarms; Weekly check the tightness of connection terminals, no looseness or overheating.

Regular Maintenance:

Every 6 months: Clean the surface dust of the module, check the appearance of the battery for no leakage or bulging;

Every 4 years: Forcefully replace the buffer battery to avoid aging and failure.

Storage Requirements: When not in use for a long time, remove the battery, store the module in a dry, cool environment, temperature - 40℃~+85℃, humidity < 90%.

Precautions: Before maintenance, must cut off the external power supply to prevent electric shock; When replacing the battery, strictly check the model to avoid reverse polarity connection.

VII. Safety Precautions

Installation and maintenance must be carried out by professional technicians. Strictly follow electrical safety regulations.

It is strictly prohibited to disassemble the internal components of the module while it is powered on. Only hot-swappable modules are supported.

The battery is a lithium battery. It is forbidden to disassemble, squeeze, or throw it into a fire. Waste batteries should be treated as hazardous waste.

When the module malfunctions, only the same model F7131 can be replaced. It is strictly prohibited to replace it with modules of other models.

Grounding is reliable: The grounding resistance of the cabinet is ≤ 4Ω. The shield wire is grounded at one end only to avoid circulating interference.
