Rexroth MKD112B 280Nm 356 min⁻¹

The MKD112B is a high-torque permanent magnet synchronous servo motor from Bosch Rexroth Indramat MKD series, rated continuous torque 280Nm, rated speed 356 rpm. This MKD112B is designed for low-speed high-torque heavy-duty axes, matched with Rexroth Indramat MDD / MKD servo drive racks. The MKD112B supports resolver or multi-turn absolute encoder feedback, delivering stable high torque output for extruders, rolling mill stands, heavy gantries and rotary indexing machines.

This MKD112B adopts IP65 enclosure protection, natural cooling or optional forced fan cooling. It comes with built-in PTC temperature sensors for winding overheat protection. The suffix options define shaft style (plain shaft / keyed shaft), 24V holding brake, feedback type and connector direction. The torque constant (Nm/A) parameter is determined by the specific winding variant of this motor. It works with Indramat digital servo controllers to realize torque, speed and position control.

The MKD112B is widely used on legacy metal forming, extrusion, printing and heavy automation production lines equipped with Indramat servo systems. The Indramat MKD series has been discontinued by Rexroth. Most available MKD112B units are tested surplus spare parts for overhaul and emergency axis replacement of old PacDrive and Indramat drive systems.
