Bently Nevada RK-4 ROTOR KIT
Description
Bently Nevada RK-4 ROTOR KIT
The RK-4 ROTOR KIT is a laboratory rotor simulation test bench from Bently Nevada, designed to replicate typical faults of rotating machinery for vibration training, sensor calibration and condition monitoring research. This RK-4 ROTOR KIT adopts V-frame mechanical structure, equipped with DC variable speed motor, rotor shaft, balance discs, journal bearings, six built-in proximity probes, proximitor modules and speed controller, supporting forward and reverse rotation with adjustable rotating speed and remote speed control via ±5V analog signalBaker Hugh.... The RK-4 ROTOR KIT can simulate single-plane and multi-plane rotor unbalance, shaft rub, oil whirl and oil whip failure modes, helping technicians master eddy current probe gap adjustment, signal reading and orbit analysis skills.
This RK-4 ROTOR KIT is widely used for training of turbine, compressor and pump vibration monitoring engineers, as well as university and research institute rotor dynamics experiments. The optional oil whirl accessory kit adds transparent oil film bearing, oil pump and loading frame, which can visually observe the formation of oil film and fluid-induced instability phenomenon. The proximitor assembly of the RK-4 ROTOR KIT outputs standard vibration signals, compatible with Bently 3500 monitoring system, oscilloscope and vibration analysis instruments for data acquisition and fault diagnosis verification. The digital tachometer displays real-time speed value, and the safety cover protects operators during test operation.
The RK-4 ROTOR KIT is a legacy training test equipment, and the original production has been discontinued. Most available RK-4 ROTOR KIT units on the market are refurbished and calibrated spare test benches for machinery condition monitoring training laboratories and service teams. It is the standard teaching tool for Bently Nevada machinery protection and vibration diagnostic training courses.
