MODICON ALU151-1 Processor Module

MODICON ALU151-1 is a high-performance processor module for AEG Modicon A250 series PLC automation systems. This processor module is the base CPU unit with Modnet 1/SFB network interface, program stored via EPROM cartridge without battery backup. The processor module supplies 5VDC power for the local backplane and integrates hardware watchdog protection circuit. This processor module supports stable continuous operation in chemical, packaging, heat treatment and general process control production lines.

It serves as a core logic controller to execute user logic programs, scan rack I/O signals and communicate on Modnet 1/SFB field bus. The logic controller handles sequence control, safety interlock, timing and counting tasks. This logic controller provides LED status indicators for run, fault and network diagnosis. The logic controller is fully compatible with Modicon A250 rack I/O modules and bus accessories.
