Simrad UMC/D Board

Simrad UMC/D Board is a rugged marine main control pcb for KONGSBERG SIMRAD marine echo sounder and hydroacoustic systems. The marine main control pcb manages overall system logic and coordinates transmitter and receiver boards. This marine main control pcb processes echo data and communicates with display units for depth calculation. The marine main control pcb uses conformal coating to resist salt mist, vibration and electromagnetic interference onboard vessels.

This board carries out hydroacoustic signal processing to analyze ultrasonic echo signals returned from seabed. The hydroacoustic signal processing filters noise interference and calculates accurate water depth data. The hydroacoustic signal processing controls transmit pulse timing for the TXB transmitter board. The hydroacoustic signal processing supports continuous depth monitoring during vessel navigation.

This Simrad spare is a critical marine sonar control spare for hydroacoustic equipment overhaul. The marine sonar control spare can replace faulty original UMC/D control boards directly.
