Description
OBSERMET 4448003
OBSERMET 4448003 is a rugged marine meteorological signal interface pcb card belonging to Observator / Obsermet classic marine weather monitoring system. The marine meteorological signal interface pcb card collects wind speed, wind direction, air temperature and barometric pressure signals from wheelhouse meteorological sensors. This marine meteorological signal interface pcb card converts raw sensor data and transmits processed meteorology information to DP controller and bridge navigation console. The marine meteorological signal interface pcb card adopts conformal coated PCB hardware to resist salt mist, vibration and electromagnetic interference on offshore drilling rigs and vessels.
This board performs multi meteorological data conditioning for continuous marine weather parameter supervision. The multi meteorological data conditioning reads analog and pulse signals from ultrasonic wind sensor and barometer. The multi meteorological data conditioning filters marine clutter interference and calculates true wind and relative wind value. The multi meteorological data conditioning outputs NMEA0183 serial data for ECDIS and dynamic positioning system. The multi meteorological data conditioning triggers alarm notification for sensor signal loss or communication fault.
This OBSERMET spare is an essential offshore meteorology spare for vessel DP and navigation cabinet overhaul. The offshore meteorology spare can replace faulty original 4448003 interface boards directly. The offshore meteorology spare meets DNV marine classification society safety requirements. The offshore meteorology spare is widely fitted on drilling rigs, DP supply vessels and hydrographic survey ships.
OBSERMET 4448003 meteorology interface PCB is the field signal acquisition board for Obsermet marine weather monitoring platform. It gathers multi-type meteorological sensor signals, processes true/relative wind data, outputs NMEA navigation messages to DP and bridge navigation system, performs reliably under high humidity and salt spray offshore environments.
