ROLLS-ROYCE PFC-3 AQUAMASTER PROPULSIVE FORCE CONTROLLER ETC-3X
ROLLS-ROYCE PFC-3 (ETC-3X) Aquamaster Propulsive Force Controller is the core modular propulsion control unit for Rolls-Royce Aquamaster Azimuth thruster system, used on offshore DP vessels, shuttle tankers and workboats. This propulsive force controller receives command signals from bridge joystick and DP system, calculates thrust magnitude and azimuth angle, and outputs control instructions to thruster hydraulic servo and pitch regulation units. The propulsive force controller integrates signal acquisition, fault diagnosis, watchdog protection and serial bus communication, monitors thruster feedback signals including angle, oil pressure and temperature, triggers alarm and interlock protection for abnormal conditions. The propulsive force controller works with ETC-3X terminal/interface module to realize local and remote thruster control, serves as critical automation spare part for azimuth thruster control cabinet overhaul and DP propulsion system retrofit.

This PFC-3 ETC-3X unit adopts rack card cage installation, powered by 24VDC marine control supply, IP00 protection and must be installed inside sealed control cabinet.
