MITSUI ZOSEN BMS-2000 BCU-1
MITSUI ZOSEN BCU-1 is the Bridge Control Unit for Mitsui Zosen BMS-2000 marine main engine remote control system, installed in wheelhouse bridge console. This bridge control unit receives bridge telegraph maneuver commands including ahead, astern, stop and speed setpoint, encodes and transmits validated orders to engine room main control unit via dedicated communication link. The bridge control unit handles command confirmation, order display, interlock check and bridge/engine room mode selection, and sends feedback status and alarm signals back to bridge panel. The bridge control unit integrates watchdog circuit, built-in self-test and fault diagnostics to report communication failure or hardware anomaly.
