Description

KONGSBERG HP MP 7600
KONGSBERG MP7600 (HP MP7600) is a marine industrial operator station computer for Kongsberg K-Chief 500 vessel automation system, installed inside bridge or engine control room operator consoles. This marine operator station PC runs K-Chief supervision software, visualizes real-time machinery parameters, alarm lists, trend curves and vessel auxiliary equipment status. The marine operator station PC communicates via CAN bus and Ethernet to connect with remote I/O modules, controllers and other workstations for alarm monitoring and machinery control. The marine operator station PC supports multi-screen output, serial communication ports and optional BlueHeat signal interface card for sensor data acquisition. The marine operator station PC serves as core HMI spare hardware for K-Chief 500 console overhaul and marine monitoring system retrofit.

This MP7600 unit is marinized compact industrial computer, powered by shipboard 24VDC supply, built to meet IEC 60945 marine environmental standard. MP7600 is an obsolete discontinued model; Kongsberg no longer manufactures new units, only surplus spare stock available. MP7600 features built-in watchdog, wide operating temperature range, resistance to vibration, salt mist and humidity on board vessels. MP7600 is widely deployed on tankers, bulk carriers, container ships and offshore vessels equipped with legacy K-Chief 500 automation system.

As marine supervision workstation hardware, this KONGSBERG MP7600 provides continuous human-machine interface for engine room monitoring, power management and alarm handling. KONGSBERG K-Chief 500 spare parts include MP7600 operator station computers, hard disk drives, interface cards, power supply modules and backplane assemblies for console maintenance. KONGSBERG marine operator station PCs are trusted replacement units for legacy K-Chief500 alarm and monitoring operator consoles.
