Description
Wartsila 46CIB BMCM
Wartsila 46CIB BMCM is the Basic Main Control Module for Wärtsilä 46 series four-stroke marine medium-speed engine CIB control system, used for genset and propulsion engine local monitoring and protection. This basic main control module collects engine crankshaft speed, cylinder pressure, lube oil, cooling water, exhaust temperature and other analog & digital sensor signals. The basic main control module executes engine safety logic, pre-alarm, slowdown and emergency shutdown interlock, and communicates with vessel alarm monitoring system via fieldbus. The basic main control module stores engine event logs, fault records and running trend data, supports local parameter setting and diagnostic troubleshooting. The basic main control module serves as core automation spare part for 46 series engine control cabinet overhaul and engine safety system retrofit.
This 46CIB BMCM unit is rack-mounted PCB controller, powered by ship 24VDC auxiliary power supply, IP20 protection. 46CIB BMCM supports redundant communication, built-in hardware watchdog and self-test function, with LED status indicators for power, communication and channel fault. 46CIB BMCM meets IEC 60945 marine environmental requirements, anti salt mist, vibration and wide temperature fluctuation in engine room. 46CIB BMCM is widely fitted on cargo ships, tankers and offshore vessels with Wartsila 46 series marine generating engines.
As marine engine core control hardware, this Wartsila BMCM guarantees continuous monitoring and fail-safe protection during engine continuous operation. Wartsila CIB system spare parts include BMCM main control modules, I/O cards, power supply modules, communication boards and terminal assemblies for engine automation system maintenance. Wartsila basic main control modules are trusted replacement units for legacy 46CIB engine monitoring and safety systems.
