KONGSBERG RDI-32XE

Description

KONGSBERG RDI-32XE
KONGSBERG RDI-32XE is a remote digital input module for Kongsberg K-Chief marine vessel automation system, used to collect dry contact digital signals from engine room and vessel auxiliary equipment. This remote digital input module features 32 dry contact input channels with individual LED status indicators, supporting signal time stamping, alarm processing, trend logging and built-in self-check function. The remote digital input module communicates with host RCU controller via redundant CANopen fieldbus, realizing reliable distributed signal acquisition for marine alarm and monitoring system. The remote digital input module provides overload protection for sensor excitation power and fault diagnosis for CAN network communication. The remote digital input module serves as essential marine automation spare part for vessel K-Chief I/O cabinet overhaul and monitoring system retrofit.

This RDI-32XE unit operates on 18–32 VDC power supply, max power consumption 16W when all inputs are active, IP20 protection class. RDI-32XE complies with IEC 60945 and IACS E10 marine environmental standards, resistant to salt mist, vibration and wide temperature range from -15℃ to +70℃. RDI-32XE adopts pluggable terminal connectors, no internal jumpers or trimming potentiometers, supporting remote parameter configuration. RDI-32XE is widely installed on cargo ships, tankers, offshore vessels for monitoring valves, pumps, filters and machinery contact alarm signals.

As rugged marine distributed I/O hardware, this KONGSBERG module ensures stable digital signal acquisition under harsh engine room environment. KONGSBERG K-Chief spare parts include RDI-32XE digital input modules, RDO-16XE digital output modules, RAi-16XE analog input modules and RCU controller units for vessel automation system maintenance. KONGSBERG remote digital input modules are trusted replacement units for legacy K-Chief marine monitoring and alarm systems.
