HIMA F3238 is a 8-channel SIL3 safety DI module of the HIMatrix series. It supports NAMUR / intrinsically safe sensors. It is on the same platform as F3237, having similar functions but with different electrical characteristics. It is currently in production.

F3238: Intrinsically safe Ex ia certification, slightly wider current threshold, suitable for explosion-proof long-distance sensors
F3237: Standard NAMUR, no intrinsically safe certification, lower cost, preferred for conventional non-explosion-proof scenarios
