WOODWARD 9907-164 (505E Series Turbine Digital Speed Control Controller)

Product Introduction 9907-164 is a Woodward 505E standard type digital governor for steam turbines. It features a full microprocessor architecture and is specifically designed for closed-loop control of speed, valve position, and load in extraction-type / inlet-split-type steam turbines. It is compatible with single actuator or dual split-range oil actuator to drive the main steam valve and extraction valve. The steam turbine of the generator set is equipped with a main controller, and the panel is equipped with a liquid crystal display and operation buttons. On-site menu-based configuration and debugging can be performed. It is widely used in thermal power, waste heat power generation, and industrial steam turbine units.

Real-time closed-loop speed control, closed-loop extraction steam pressure control, valve position limit control, and overspeed protection logic interlock.

Built-in fault self-diagnosis, automatic alarms for probe disconnection, output short circuit, and abnormal power supply, and fault contact output.

On-site configuration without software, with flexible adaptability to single extraction steam / double extraction steam, and staged valve control for various types of steam turbine models. Applicable scenarios

Waste heat power generation steam turbine, chemical self-owned power station extraction steam turbine, blast furnace gas turbine, small steam turbine generator set, steam expansion machine speed control system.

Operation and maintenance instructions

Avoid water vapor, oil stains and dust from entering the panel. Keep it away from frequency converters, high-power contactors and strong electromagnetic interference sources;

Regularly tighten the back wiring terminals to prevent loosening and resulting in drift of speed / valve position signals;

When replacing spare parts, prefer the same model 9907-164. After replacement, re-load the group configuration parameters;

For actuator circuit faults, prioritize checking the servo wiring. For controller faults, you can check the fault code on the panel for traceability.
