Product Overview Woodward 9905‑726 is a low‑voltage forward‑acting analog speed‑load & load‑sharing controller of the classic 2301A series, designed for diesel/gas engines, gas turbines and generator sets. It provides high‑precision speed regulation, real‑kW load sharing for parallel gensets, overspeed protection and torque limiting, widely used in power generation, marine power, oil‑gas and heavy‑duty industrial prime‑mover control systems.

  1. Forward‑acting output logic: fuel increases with rising control signal; power‑loss fail‑safe to no‑fuel position, compatible with standard proportional electric‑hydraulic actuators.

  2. PID closed‑loop control with startup ramp, actuator stroke limit, load rejection protection and overspeed test function.

  3. Supports 4‑20 mA remote setpoint input for speed/load adjustment, compatible with DCS/PLC systems.

  4. RS‑485 Modbus‑RTU communication for real‑time monitoring and parameter configuration.
