Woodward 8404‑204 is a heavy‑duty PISC‑II integrated speed‑control electric actuator of the ProAct Plus series, with built‑in drive electronics and position feedback sensor. It is specially designed for large‑power diesel/gas engines, gas turbines and high‑load gensets, receiving control signals from Woodward 2301A/2301D/easYgen governors to precisely regulate fuel rack/valve position, realizing high‑precision speed and load control. Widely used in power generation, marine main engines, oil‑gas compressors and heavy‑duty industrial prime‑mover systems.
