8440-1884M

Woodward 8440‑1884M is a high‑performance genset controller of the easYgen‑2000/2500 series, designed for single‑unit operation, multi‑genset island parallel operation and grid‑parallel control. It integrates speed regulation, voltage control, load sharing, synchronization and comprehensive protection, widely used in industrial power stations, marine power systems, oil‑gas backup power and distributed energy generation systems.

Description

Core Functions

  1. Supports parallel control of up to 16 generator sets in island mode, or single‑set grid‑parallel operation; realizes precise real‑kW load sharing and stable power distribution.

  2. Automatic synchronization: slip frequency & phase matching, breaker closing control, open/closed transition, soft load/unload function.

  3. Multiple operation modes: auto, manual, stop, load/no‑load test; complete engine/generator electrical and mechanical protection (over‑voltage, under‑voltage, overload, over‑speed, reverse power, etc.).

  4. Rich communication interfaces: Modbus‑RTU, CANopen, J1939, Ethernet; supports remote monitoring, parameter setting and SCADA connection.

  5. 128×64 graphic LCD display, 11‑language support (including Chinese), panel key operation, easy on‑site debugging.
