9907-994

Woodward 9907‑994 is a low‑voltage reverse‑acting 2301A‑series electronic speed‑load governor, developed for diesel/gas engines, steam/gas turbines and generator sets. It provides high‑precision speed regulation, multi‑genset parallel load sharing, overspeed protection and torque‑limiting control, widely used in power generation, petrochemical, oil‑gas and marine heavy‑duty industrial prime‑mover control systems.

Description

Core Functions

  1. Dual control modes: isochronous mode for standalone constant‑speed operation; droop mode for multi‑unit genset parallel load sharing.

  2. Reverse‑acting control logic: fuel increases as control output decreases; power‑loss fail‑safe to full‑fuel position, compatible with mechanical backup governors.

  3. PID closed‑loop control with startup ramp, actuator stroke limit, load rejection protection, overspeed test and torque limiting functions.

  4. Supports 4‑20 mA analog remote speed/load setpoint input for seamless DCS/PLC integration.

  5. RS‑485 Modbus‑RTU communication for real‑time monitoring and parameter configuration.
