9907-163

Woodward 9907‑163 is a 505 series microprocessor‑based digital turbine governor, dedicated to single‑shaft steam/gas turbines, turbo‑generators, extraction‑condensing turbines and industrial turboexpanders. It integrates speed regulation, load control, startup sequencing, overspeed protection and fault diagnosis, widely used in power plants, petrochemical, oil‑gas and heavy‑duty industrial turbine control systems。

Description

Core Functions

  1. Dual control modes: isochronous mode for single‑unit constant‑speed operation; droop mode for multi‑unit parallel load sharing.

  2. Multi‑loop PID control: speed, load, inlet/exhaust pressure, extraction pressure regulation.

  3. Built‑in startup ramp, warm‑up function, load rejection protection, overspeed trip and zero‑speed detection.

  4. On‑panel keypad & display for local parameter configuration, real‑time monitoring and fault logging.

  5. Supports Modbus‑RTU/ASCII communication and 4‑20 mA analog signals for DCS/PLC integration。
