Woodward 9903‑109 is a high‑performance microprocessor‑based digital speed‑load controller of the 9903 series, mainly designed for single‑actuator steam/gas turbines, turbine‑generators, turbo‑expanders and industrial prime movers.   1. Dual control modes: isochronous mode for standalone unit constant‑speed operation; droop mode for multi‑unit parallel load sharing

  2. Precision PID closed‑loop speed/load control, supports critical speed avoidance, valve stroke limit, startup fuel limit and interlock protection

  3. Real‑time self‑diagnosis, overspeed monitoring and multi‑channel fault alarm output to ensure system safety

  4. 4‑20 mA analog remote setpoint input, compatible with upper‑level DCS/PLC system linkage

  5. Supports turbine synchronization, deceleration ramp control, extraction/admission regulation for steam turbines

  6. On‑site programmable via front‑panel HMI; online parameter tuning and monitoring with dedicated Woodward software
