WOODWARD 8256‑021 is a rotary electric actuator of the EPG series with 24VDC power supply, also known as Type 524. It is a core component of the all‑electric speed governing system, specially designed for diesel engines, gas engines, gas turbines and small steam turbine generators. It accurately controls fuel or intake valves to realize closed‑loop regulation of unit speed and load.
