8250-807

WOODWARD 8250‑807 is a 723PLUS series digital speed‑load governor, a microprocessor‑based controller optimized for gas engines, diesel engines, stationary generator sets and small‑medium industrial turbines. It provides high‑precision speed regulation, load control, overspeed protection, ramp control and parallel load‑sharing, widely used in distributed power plants, oil‑gas fields, cogeneration and industrial power generation systems.

Description

Key Features

  • Dual redundant magnetic pickup (MPU) speed inputs with torsional vibration filtering

  • Supports isochronous (zero‑droop) and droop control for standalone or grid‑parallel operation

  • Remote setpoint via 4‑20 mA / 1‑5 VDC analog signal

  • Built‑in overspeed shutdown, start‑up fuel limit, acceleration/deceleration ramps

  • Compatible with Woodward synchronizer modules for multi‑unit real‑power load‑sharing

  • Rich configurable analog & discrete I/O for actuator drive, alarms and DCS/PLC interface

  • RS‑232/RS‑422 communication, configured/monitored by Watch Window software

  • Industrial‑grade wide temperature, anti‑EMI and anti‑vibration design
