8250-226

WOODWARD 8250‑226 is a 723PLUS series microprocessor‑based digital speed‑load governor, an upgraded model of 8250‑022. It delivers high‑precision speed regulation, load control, overspeed protection and parallel‑operation load‑sharing functions for diesel/gas engines, steam turbines, gas turbines and small‑medium generator sets. Widely applied in industrial power plants, waste‑heat power generation, oil‑gas fields and marine power systems.

Description

Key Features

  • Supports isochronous (zero‑droop) and droop control modes, suitable for standalone or grid‑parallel genset operation

  • Accepts 4‑20 mA / 1‑5 V DC analog remote setpoint signals for flexible speed/load adjustment

  • Built‑in overspeed protection, startup fuel limit, acceleration/deceleration ramp control and fault self‑diagnosis

  • Compatible with Woodward DSLC synchronizer modules to realize multi‑unit real‑power load‑sharing

  • Abundant digital/analog I/O ports for magnetic speed pickup, actuator drive, alarm relays and DCS/PLC connection

  • Rugged industrial‑grade design with wide temperature range, anti‑EMI and anti‑vibration performance

  • Perfectly matched with Woodward 2301, 505 series control systems and mainstream electro‑hydraulic actuators
