WOODWARD 8239‑015 is a compact digital synchronizer module from the DSM series, designed for automatic three‑parameter synchronization (frequency, phase angle, voltage) of AC generators. It outputs raise/lower contact signals or analog bias commands to speed governors and AVRs, enabling seamless grid paralleling. Widely used with Woodward 2301, 505 series governors for steam turbines, gas turbines, diesel and gas engine‑driven gensets in power plants, industrial cogeneration and marine power systems.
