6. Installation and maintenance
1. Installation
Select standard free slots of the Ovation cabinet, reserve ventilation space (≥5cm), keep away from high-power frequency converters, motors, transformers and other strong interference equipment. Wear an anti-static wristband, push the module steadily to ensure reliable contact of the backplane bus, lock the panel screws. When installing multiple modules densely, keep the module spacing uniform to ensure heat dissipation and avoid high temperature affecting the lifespan of the output contacts.
2. Wiring
Connect the output terminals of the module to the on-site control devices using multi-strand copper core insulated wires, distinguish positive and negative poles and load types, tighten the terminals moderately to avoid loosening and overheating. For inductive loads (such as relays, motors), it is recommended to parallel shunt diodes or surge suppressors at both ends to protect the module contacts. Separate the power cables and high-voltage cables for wiring (spacing ≥ 30cm) to reduce electromagnetic interference.
