VI. Installation and Maintenance

1. Installation

Select standard free slots in the Ovation cabinet, reserve space for ventilation above and below, and keep away from high-power frequency converters and motors with strong interference. Wear an anti-static wristband, push the card into the slot smoothly to ensure reliable contact of the backplane bus, and lock the panel screws. In redundant configuration, install two cards of the same specification in adjacent slots for easy wiring and maintenance.

2. Wiring

Select multi-strand shielded cables, connect according to the output signal type (current/voltage), tighten the terminals moderately to avoid loosening and overheating. Ground the shield layer at one end, separate it from the power cable for wiring, and reduce electromagnetic interference. After wiring, check the circuit to ensure no short circuits, incorrect connections, etc., and avoid open circuits in the current output circuit and short circuits in the voltage output circuit.
