VI. Installation and Maintenance
(1) Installation Requirements
Installation location: Installed on Ovation standard I/O rack DIN rail or 19-inch rack, installed firmly and vibration-proof; reserve ≥120mm of space above and below the module and ≥60mm of space on the left and right for heat dissipation, away from strong heat sources and strong electromagnetic sources (such as frequency converters, large power motors), ensuring smooth ventilation.
Installation specifications: Install using standard snap fasteners or rack fixing components to ensure good contact between the module and the backplane; wear anti-static wristbands during installation to avoid damage to electronic components due to static electricity; when installing multiple modules in parallel, the spacing should be ≥60mm to ensure heat dissipation and signal isolation; when redundant installation is used, the spacing between the two modules should be ≥120mm to facilitate maintenance and heat dissipation. Cabling Specifications: On the input side, use a compliant AC power cable, ensuring secure connection without looseness. The live wire, neutral wire, and ground wire should be clearly distinguished.
