6. Installation Instructions

1. Power Off: Disconnect all power to the I/O base.

2. Align Terminal Block: Match the 170XTS00100 to the base’s connector slots.

3. Snap Into Place: Press firmly until the block clicks and seats flush.

4. Prepare Wires: Strip 6–7 mm of insulation; use copper wire only.

5. Open Clamp: Turn screw counterclockwise to open the clamp.

6. Insert Wire: Fully insert stripped wire into terminal; avoid stray strands.

7. Tighten Screw: Torque to 0.5–0.6 N·m (4.5–5.5 in‑lb).
