7. Installation
Power off the Quantum I/O module and related equipment.
Align the Quantum connector with the module’s front port; push until snap‑lock clicks.
Route the cable to the SUB‑D device; avoid sharp bends and pinch points.
Insert the 50‑pin SUB‑D into the target port; tighten captive screws (0.8–1.0 N·m).
Secure cable with ties; maintain minimum bend radius.
Verify connections before restoring power.
8. Maintenance
Inspection: Check connectors for damage, tightness, or corrosion quarterly.
Cleaning: Wipe cable and connectors with dry cloth; avoid solvents.
Strain relief: Verify strain relief integrity annually.
Storage: Keep in dry, clean area when unused; avoid direct sunlight.
9. Safety Instructions
For indoor industrial use only.
Power off all connected equipment during installation/removal.
Do not exceed rated voltage/current.
Avoid bending cable beyond minimum radius; do not step on or crush.
California Prop 65: Contains lead compounds; may cause cancer or reproductive harm.
