7. Installation and Wiring

1. Preparation

• Power off the target I/O module before installation or removal.

2. Attachment

• Align the 140XTS00200 with the module’s front connector.

• Push firmly until the snap‑lock engages (click).

3. Wiring

• Strip wire to 6–7 mm (0.24–0.28 in).

• Loosen screw, insert wire, tighten to 0.5–0.6 N·m.

• Label wires per site standards.

4. Removal

• Power off the I/O module.

• Press release tab and pull straight out.

8. Maintenance

• Inspection: Check terminal tightness and wire integrity quarterly.

• Cleaning: Wipe with dry cloth; avoid solvents.

• Torque check: Verify screw torque annually.

• Storage: Keep dry and clean when unused.
