6. Installation Instructions

1. Module Connection

   • Align the 50‑pin SUB‑D male with the module’s female port.

   • Insert firmly and tighten the two captive screws (torque to 0.5–0.8 N·m).

2. Field Wiring

   • Route cable away from high‑voltage/power cables (maintain ≥ 10 cm separation).

   • Connect pigtail leads to terminal blocks per color code and module pinout.

   • Keep unused leads insulated and secured.

3. Shield Grounding (Critical)

   • Connect the cable shield to chassis earth at one end only (cabinet side).

   • Avoid double grounding to prevent ground loops.
