5. Installation & Wiring
Rack Installation
Insert 140XBE10000C into any empty slot of the main Quantum rack.
Push firmly until latched.
Connect extension rack backplane cable to the expander port.
Secure cables and ensure proper chassis grounding.
Power Wiring
24 V DC: connect to V+ and 0 V terminals
Ground: chassis to system earth ground
Cable: twisted pair, 18–24 AWG, max 500 m
