III. Installation Guide (Key Points)

1. Installation Gap (Critical!)

Recommended Gap: 1.0~1.5 mm (top of phase detection teeth / groove)

Target Surface: 4140 Steel (standard), Area ≥ 3 times the probe diameter

Side / Back Clearance: ≥ 5 mm (avoid metal interference)

2. Wiring (Three-Wire System, Adapter → Probe)

Core Wire: Signal (+)

Inner Shield: Common (-)

Outer Shield: Ground (Single-ended Ground, Ground on Adapter Side)

Total Cable Length: Probe + Extension Cable = 5m/9m, cannot be cut随意

3. Installation Steps

Clean Installation Holes and Measured Surface (No Oil Stains, No Bumps)

Manual Insertion of Probe to Slight Contact, then Retract 1.25 mm

Locking Anti-Slip Nut (Torque 8~10 N·m)

Fixing Cable (Avoid Twisting, Bend Radius ≥ 25 mm)

Adapter Installation on Insulation Board (Floating, Avoid Ground Current)

IV. Calibration and Debugging

Power Supply: Adapter -24 VDC ±10%

Gap Voltage: –10.0 ±0.5 VDC (Static, No Speed)

V. Common Faults and Troubleshooting

No Pulse Signal: Check Gap (too large / too small), Wiring, Adapter Power Supply, Cable Break

Signal Jumping / Noise: Poor Grounding, Double-ended Grounding of Outer Shield, Cable Close to Strong Electricity

High Temperature Drift: Too Small Gap, Probe Over 175℃, Extension Cable Over Temperature

Lost Pulse: Phase Detection Tooth Deformation, Installation Looseness, Excessive Vibration

Purpose: 330980 = Phase Detection / Speed; 330104 = Shaft Vibration / Displacement Temperature resistance: 330980 = 175℃; Ordinary = 125℃

Signal: 330980 focuses on pulse integrity; Ordinary focuses on linear range

Operating conditions: The high-temperature section of the gas turbine must use 330980 and it cannot be replaced.
