72869-02
Description
Basic Information
Part of the 7200 series (coinciding with 72870‑01/‑03), it has been discontinued (EOL), available only as second-hand / refurbished / in stock.
Structure: 19-inch rack, approximately 3U high; without head (different from RVXY‑II), board-mounted, front and rear wiring.
Positioning: Pure hardware monitoring, used for shaft vibration, shaft displacement, eccentricity, and expansion difference protection of rotating machinery.
Function and Positioning
Dual-channel (X/Y) independent monitoring: Receives input from the 3300 series eddy current probes.
Measurement: Radial vibration, axial displacement, eccentricity, expansion difference.
Output: Each channel has an alarm (Alert) + danger (Danger) relay, direct connection to shutdown interlock, independent of software.
Features: No local display, reads through the system frame or upper computer; high reliability, fast response. Core parameters
Channel: 2 paths (X/Y)
Input: Eddy current sensor (e.g. 33010x)
Range: Commonly 0–250 μm (0–10 mil)
Accuracy: ±1% of full scale
Output: Relay contacts (alarm / danger)
Power supply: ±15V DC (7200 rack power supply)
Status:, spare parts circulation
Difference from 72870‑01/‑03 (quick distinction)
72869‑02 (RVDP-II): No dial, board-mounted, for displacement / expansion difference mainly.
72870‑01/‑03 (RVXY-II): With pointer dial, for vibration mainly.
The two have similar functions and compatible pins, and are often used interchangeably.
Compatibility and substitution
Compatibility: 7200 rack, 72870 backplane, 3300 series eddy current probe
Substitution: 3500/40 (72951‑xx) 4-channel vibration monitoring module (mainstream upgrade model of 3500 system
