Original American-made 3500 system-specific TMR triple-redundant communication module, full-height size, metal reinforced housing, supports hot-swappable operation while powered on; complies with API 670 standard, specifically designed for high-reliability critical equipment, must be installed in slot 1 of the 3500 rack (adjacent to the power supply), one per frame is required.
Function and Positioning
As the core gateway of the 3500 monitoring frame and the upper System 1 software, it is responsible for high-speed collection and transmission of steady-state + transient data (waveforms); integrates 3500/20 RIM functions and communication processing capabilities, supports TMR triple-redundant voting, ensures data integrity and system fault tolerance, supports rotating machinery fault diagnosis, trend analysis, and protection interlock.
