1C31157G02 is the event sequence recording (SOE) module of Emerson (formerly Westinghouse) Ovation DCS system. It is an upgraded / replacement version of 1C31157G01. Its core function is to capture the state changes of digital signals with millisecond-level high precision and timestamp them, which is used for accident traceability, fault analysis, and recollection of interlock events.
