General Description
WOODWARD 5403-975 is a programmable logic controller (PLC) / control module in the Woodward industrial control family, serving as a core I/O and logic processing unit for prime mover control systems. It features a high-speed processor, 64MB memory, 16 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs, supporting Modbus TCP, Ethernet/IP and PROFIBUS DP communication protocols for seamless connection with DCS and host systems. The module accepts 24 VDC power supply, operates in a wide temperature range of -10 °C to +60 °C, and adopts compact panel-mount design with strong shock and vibration resistance. It is widely used for speed/load control, safety interlock and fault monitoring of industrial turbines, generator sets and mechanical drive equipment.
