1. General Information
C suffix: Conformal coated PCB for humid, dusty, corrosive environments (oil & gas, water/wastewater, marine, food & beverage).
Function: Connects Quantum backplane to remote eX80 I/O stations via Ethernet/IP + Modbus TCP; acts as RIO drop (slave) in EIO architecture.
Compatibility: Works with 140CRP31200 (local head module) and eX80 I/O (remote drops).
Status: Mature standard product (non‑coated 140CRA31200 is phasing out; coated 31200C active).

6. Installation & Wiring
6.1 Mounting
Power OFF the Quantum rack.
Insert module into any single‑slot position.
Latch and tighten screw.
6.2 DC Power Wiring (24 VDC)
+24 V: Positive
0 V: Ground
Wire size: 0.75–2.5 mm²
Warning: Verify polarity and voltage before powering ON.
6.3 Ethernet Wiring (3 × RJ45)
PORT S: Connect to programming PC/HMI (Unity Pro).
PORT 1 / PORT 2: Connect to adjacent EIO modules (daisy‑chain or ring).
Shield: Ground at one end only (PE).
Ring Mode: Connect PORT2 of last drop back to PORT1 of head module (140CRP31200).
7. Configuration (Unity Pro)
Add 140CRA31200C in hardware catalog.
Set EIO drop address (1–63).
Enable redundancy (ring mode).
Assign I/O map (max 128 In / 128 Out words).
Download configuration to PLC.
8. Operation & LED Status
Mod Status Green: Module powered and healthy.
Mod Status Red: Hardware fault / config error.
Net Status Green Blinking: Data exchange active.
Net Status Red: Link down / network fault.
RUN Green: Module in RUN mode.
I/O Red: Remote eX80 I/O fault.
