Function: Connects Quantum backplane to remote DIO stations via serial link; supports redundant ring communication.
Key Difference from 140CRA21220: Conformal coated (harsh environment version).

7. Installation & Wiring
7.1 Mounting
Power OFF the Quantum rack.
Insert module into any single‑slot position.
Latch and tighten screw.
7.2 DC Power Wiring (24 VDC)
+24 V: Positive
0 V: Ground
Wire size: 0.75–2.5 mm²
Warning: Verify polarity and voltage before powering ON.
7.3 DIO Communication Wiring (Dual Ports)
Connect shielded twisted pair to PORT1 and PORT2 (7‑pole terminal blocks).
Shield: Ground at one end only (PE).
Redundant mode: Dual‑port ring for fault‑tolerant communication.
8. Configuration (Unity Pro)
Add 140CRA21220C in hardware catalog.
Set DIO address (1–63).
Enable redundancy (dual‑port ring).
